education, and life experiences Cherlynn Conetsco and
Alinda Lewris co-founded the Protocol and Etiquette
Institute (P&EI Washington) to
promote civility and integrity across all cultures and to
emphasize ethical and professional standards. They work
wholeheartedly to advance educational opportunities for

Cherlynn
Conetsco graduated summa cum laude with a degree in
psychology from the University of Maryland, and a Masters in
Public Administration from Golden Gate University.
Ms. Conetsco is
Chairman, Certification Council and Member, Education Review
Board of the International Association of Protocol Consultants®
/ Officers
(IAPC), which specializes in new advanced concepts in executive
business training. She is among the first to qualify for the
premier credential of Certified Protocol Consultant®, CPC®. Ms.
Conetsco began her professional life working at U.S. embassies
in Indonesia and Greece. She subsequently spent two decades
teaching protocol, etiquette, cultural awareness, and related
topics to thousands of Department of Defense and
Department of Homeland Security officers, civilian
diplomats, and their family members selected for embassy duty
worldwide.
Ms. Conetsco has
extensive experience in curriculum design and development,
course coordination and evaluation, and survey methodology.
Business trips have taken her to more than twenty-five countries
for first-hand cross-cultural awareness. Retired from Public
Service, she continues to ease her corporate, diplomatic, and
private clients’ transition from one milieu to another, one
culture to another, and from one set of responsibilities to
another, thus contributing immensely to their social and
professional success.
ALINDA LEWRIS, CPC®
Certified Protocol Consultant®
Alinda Lewris graduated magna cum laude with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree from George Washington University. She
continued her executive education at Harvard University Graduate
School of Design.
On 2002, Ms. Lewris merged her design firm with her executive
consulting business. As founder, she also established the
International Association of Protocol Consultants® / Officers.
She worked closely with famous authors Roger Axtell, Letitia
Baldrige, Dr. P.M. Forni, and Peggy Post --- acknowledged
experts on international protocol, etiquette, civility, and the
"human side of business." She served as President and Chief
Executive Officer from 2002 to 2007 for this organization.
From 2006 to June 2008, Alinda Lewris was managing partner for
Letitia Baldrige Enterprises, which was established in 1964.
Baldrige & Lewris, a firm specializing in executive consulting,
used their combined experience, talent, and expertise to create
"modern" programs. Ms. Lewris has advised international law
firms, the medical profession, governments, and members of
Fortune 25 to Fortune Global 500 corporations.
As a successful businesswoman for more than two decades and a
mother of two 'wonderful' sons, she understands that the
key to having the energy she needs in all her endeavors is based
on embracing opportunities and challenges with stride. That is
why she is throwing her usual enthusiasm behind a new adventure
to author a book and co-author industry related materials. She
will continue with executive consultations for established
clients.
Alinda Lewris has been featured in national and international
